Manager Performance Groups
The Manager Performance Groups (MPG) offer the same comprehensive and effective training as our other Performance Groups, but focused on managers and their unique role in an automotive business.
The MPG helps managers improve their leadership and management skills, with skill assessments and a modular curriculum backed by financial and performance analytics. The peer community furthers that education with support, accountability, and guidance.
Gear Performance Groups
The GEAR Performance Groups (GPG) are The Institute's twist on traditional 20s groups, creating a community of elite automotive professionals supported by education and training.
Our Groups focus on three things: increasing your profits, creating custom strategies for your business, and giving you the support you need to make every decision. If you're looking to thrive (and not just survive) in the industry, the GPG is where you want to be!
Advisor Performance Groups
The Advisor Performance Groups (APG) are the most comprehensive and most effective service advisor training available in the industry. The APG adapts the 20s groups of the past to be a results-driven program for service advisors looking to excel.
Institute-trained advisors learn how to continuously boost their sales and provide more value for your customers. While they compete amongst each other, each advisor gains the skills they need to help your shop get to the top.
Individual Coaching
A stepping stone into the GPG, our 1-on-1 coaching provides you with access to an industry expert. Each coach will look at where your business is currently at, where you want to be, and create a unique business plan for your shop.

Maybe you'll focus on getting your finances in shape or creating processes that reduce your turnover rate. Whatever it is, our individual coaching program is here to help you succeed!
The Institute's GEAR Platform
Our GEAR Platform is all about two things: Great Education And Resources. The Platform includes:

- GEARHeads Network (online community)
- GEAR Dashboard (KPI and management tracking tool)

While GPG and APG members get the most access, non-members can benefit from free access to the Network, free courses on the library, and paid options.
Our Events & Workshops
The Institute holds 6-8 workshops per year on topics ranging from creating processes that set precedence to how to hire during a technician shortage.
